Gazpromneft-Yamal is a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, the largest investor in infrastructure development among oil-producing enterprises in Russia, a recently acquitted customer of SCAD tech Group. In September 2018 our company successfully passed the selection procedure for construction, installation and commissioning of the 1st stage of the Automated System of Dispatch Control and Technical Metering of Electricity (ASDCE / ASTME). The systems will be implemented at the power supply facilities of one of the largest oil and gas condensate fields on the Yamal-Novoportovskoye peninsula.
Completion of the project is estimated for the end of 2019.
Developed by SCAD tech Group, ASDCE / ASTME are designed to automate the following processes:
technical accounting of electricity consumption at measurement points,
operational-dispatch control over power supply objects (position of switches, operation of relay protection devices, position of entrance doors),
management of power supply facilities (for electrical installations without constant staff presence),
calculation and control of unit costs of electricity,
monitoring the quality of electricity,
collecting, processing, storing and transmitting of information on the value of measured electricity parameters and status of monitored equipment to the central information collection server at Gazpromneft-Yamal.
The implementation of the mentioned solutions designed by SCAD tech will allow to conduct remote metering of electricity, monitor electricity consumption, prevent theft and optimally manage tariffs. The system automatically continuously collects technological information from sensors connected to infrastructure facilities, monitors electrical equipment operation parameters and manages its uninterrupted operation, providing real-time reporting data. Due to the formation of an accurate energy balance for any groups of consumers, the company will be able to optimize costs and reduce unnecessary electricity consumption. The monitoring system will determine current state of equipment and allow to take timely measures in case of emergency situations, reducing maintenance costs.
The works will be carried out in accordance with the following project documentation: «Automated System of Dispatching Control and Technical Metering of Electricity (ASDCE / ASTME) at the power supply facilities of Novoportovskiy NGKM», stage «Working documentation», performed by «RusGazEngineering».
The facility of Gazpromneft-Yamal is located beyond the 68th circle of latitude, on the territory of Yamal district of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, Tyumen Region, 300 km to the north-east from the town of Salekhard. The pipelines pass through the lands of the MEP Yarsalinskoe. This is the northernmost point on the map of projects implemented by SCAD tech so far. Specialists of the company involved in the works at the facility will be operating in harsh weather conditions. A working group is formed specifically for implementation of this project in the separate subdivision SCAD tech in Tyumen. Now there are five employees in the group, seven more specialists are scheduled to join later.
According to Stanislav Popadin, Deputy Commercial Director of SCAD tech, this contract with Gazpromneft-Yamal will be the beginning of a long-term cooperation with new customers in the Yamal cluster.
